Empire: Currently located in Chrysanthos, though he tends to border-hop in his search for his sister, as well as be mercenary to whichever side pays him more.
Character Type: Warrior/Swordsman (Mercenary)
Background:
Raised by thieves who also taught him to fight, Hiei soon surpassed them in skill and left to find his birthplace with the Koorime. There he met a woman mourning the grave of his mother, who had killed herself out of grief after he had been born. She told him the story of how men in the Koorime were unheard of, that he was the Forbidden Child and had been cast out of their society. She told him of how he had a twin sister who had left the clan in search of him, who was now a priestess. Indicating the tear necklace Hiei was wearing, she explained how Yukina had a matching one and that would be how to know it truly is her.
The woman asked that if Hiei were to take revenge upon the Koorime, that he kill her, as she was the one who had sent him down the river in place of his mother. Instead of doing so, Hiei did not reply and walked away, thinking instead of how he would locate his sister.
His search brought him to the home of a witch, who demanded both his Koorime tear necklace as well as the promise that when he finds his sister, he may never tell her that they are related. Hiei agrees, reluctantly handing over his only relic of his past. What is known to be the Jagan Eye is surgically implanted in his forehead, a process that weakens him considerably until he recovers and learns how to use it.
He has not yet found Yukina, though when he does, he plans never to so much as speak to her, in order to easier keep his promise to the witch.
Easily irritated and quick-tempered, Hiei is a loner that avoids other people. However, if you manage to earn his respect he will be a very loyal ally.
Special Abilities:
Though strong and very fast , most of his abilities stem from having the Jagan Eye, which he keeps covered by a strip of cloth. With it, he is able to manipulate those with a weak mind, speak telepathically and move objects with telekinesis.
Like his sister, his tears also form a unique gem. Seeing tears as a weakness, Hiei has only produced hiroseki as an infant.
